Flowers and Horses, How Lovely

Right now the equestrian look is so in style within the fashion industry. Every designer alike has something in their latest collection that screams horse. If you recall, the god designer, John Galliano did an entire collection of equestrian inspired couture for his 2010 Spring/Summer Christian Dior Haute Couture show. If you haven't seen it, view it here right this instant before viewing any other part of this blog. Yes, it's that divine.

Now, since that show, tons of designers have been inspired to incorporate the equestrian look into their own lines. I found a few things that I really liked.

-Let's start with the best first, the shoes. These are Chloe ankle boots, $850, available at Burgdorf Goodman's.

-Gryphon Band Stud Jacket, $495, available at Sacs 5th Avenue.

-Marc by Marc Jacobs gray leggings, $260.

-Stella McCartney horse print T, $195.

-Hermes horse watch, price on request.

I happen to really like this look for women. It's very lean and soft looking.

Now for the second half of this blog, a few weeks ago I reviewed Christian Dior's 2010 Fall/Winter Haute Couture collection, and seeing the still photo's is one thing, but seeing it come to life is another, and they finally have the show up on youtube, so check it out. It's breathtaking. Please enjoy it as much as I did.
